What : The most noticeable, enticing, and utterly cool hotel in a city that screams hipness.The building was designed by the Brazilian- Japanese architect Ruy Ohtake to look like a slcice of watermelon.

Where : The classy Jardins district of Sao paulo, Brazil

Why : The ulltra-modern architecture iis complemented by an equally fascinating glut of technology on the inside.The rooms all feature flat-screen televisions, DVD, cordless phones that work anywhere in the hotel and, perhaps most striklingy, electronics walls that open and close over the round windows(the " seeds" of the watermelon).
